After dropping skateboards and Hawaiian shirts, Studio Ghibli is releasing more “Kiki’s Delivery Service” merch for all of us young witches at heart.
Through their official merch website Donguri Sora, the studio has added two dresses inspired by our favorite hardworking, broom-riding delivery witch. The dresses come in navy (just like Kiki’s) and beige, with long sleeves and an embroidered pattern over the left side of the chest.
Based on the product description, the dresses only have one size: approximately 114 centimeters long (around 3.74 feet) and 64 cm wide (about 2 feet). There are buttons from the collar down to the hem so you can wear these as either a dress or a haori, a traditional Japanese jacket worn over a kimono.
You can purchase these dresses for ¥7,480 (around P3,480) each, a few thousand pesos cheaper than the Hawaiian shirts. The catch is only the beige version is in stock right now. Guess a lot of young witches are training while on quarantine.
Who knows? Maybe they’ll restock soon, or maybe drop some new merch. A scarlet and gray patterned coat like Howl’s, perhaps? Fingers crossed.
