UPDATE (Jan. 28): Added the multicolored version of the toy bracelet.
Y2K kids, we know y’all love a good reference to the best years of your life. And we do, too: We love reminiscing about our childhood shows and of course, the fashion trends. We still believe Juicy Couture needs a comeback.
Balenciaga apparently digs the Y2K aesthetic too, giving us nostalgia with its latest jewelry drop―the toy logo beaded bracelet, channeling “baddest b on the playground” energy.
The bracelet spells out “I ❤️ BALENCIAGA” in white carved on pink and red cube beads. Hearts and four-leaf clovers decorate the ends, and you secure it with a silver tube clasp.
It’s cute, NGL, and there’s also a multicolored version just like the DIY friendship bracelets (with mismatched color palettes and everything) that I remember exchanging with other kids back then.
It’s priced at £329 ( roughly P21,746), so if you wanna let people know you were that Y2K fashion kid (and still are), check it out on MatchesFashion.
Meanwhile, other crafty stuff are making comebacks, too. Ever heard of crochetcore?
