‘Animal Crossing’ nail art is a thing now

As those of us who can retreat into virtual worlds mid-quarantine, “Animal Crossing” seems to be where the party’s at now. People are dressing up in it or throwing birthday parties and even marriage ceremonies on their islands. Ah, to live in a lawless, happy-go-lucky world like that.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case in the real world right now. But there is one way to bring the vibe IRL: “Animal Crossing” nail art.

The trend has been popping up on Instagram following the game’s increasing popularity. People are painting their nails with the faces of villagers or candy-colored AC backdrops—and it’s pretty damn cute, if you ask us.
