Hanging out at Ateneo de Manila University for Scout Campus Tour was surprisingly…cute?
Last October 6 was a day to remember for our Atenean friends as we brought them our a-game Rain or shine (sunny all throughout with a little rain shower early afternoon), we were welcomed not just with open arms, but with high fives and as well as big hugs.
Campus Tour goers had the option to stack up giant jengas or wild out on our giant Tic-Tac-Toes. But if they ain’t feeling playing with our big toys, our tables are piled with UNO cards and normal-sized Jengas to play with.
We’re big on equal opportunities, so we had Ateneans get the chance to be on their own Scout covers through our photo booth. And of course, every Campus Tour goer gets a copy of the latest issue of our magazine.
We also have the Scout Consultation Booth open for service, once again, to cater to the Campus Tour goers’ creative consultation needs. Now, we definitely have our eyes on those who dropped by.
We also asked Ateneo de Manila’s most creative to send over their artworks and we put it up for display over at the Student Gallery. Thank you for sending in your art! We got our eye on you.
Our friends over at Pioneer Mighty Bond, The Loop, and Oakley, came along with us to keep these troopers entertained. Thanks guys!
Our team took the stage as we shared with our Atenean friends the stories behind the stories that we put in the magazine. Now if you weren’t there to hear about it, you probably missed a lot! Or a little. We don’t know.
Campus Tour goers also had the chance to hear it straight from award-winning film director, Petersen Vargas, as he talked about 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten and his take on storytelling through film.
No Scout Campus Tour would be complete without the music, of course! The afternoon was spent jamming to the music care of Ateneo’s very own lui., The Clamshell Boxes, and Ashley’s Kryptonite. Thank you, friends, for giving your time to show us a little slice of Ateneo’s music scene pie.
We called it a day and brought our friends over from Tom’s Story to finish #ScoutXADMU Campus Tour with a bang. It was indeed such a fun afternoon hanging around the Ateneo de Manila campus and meeting the Scout readers and hearing from them in person. We can’t wait for next year! But until then, we’ll have this day to remember by.
As for our friends over at España, listen up! We’re heading to your area soon.
The #ScoutXADMU Campus Tour 2017 wouldn’t be possible without our partnered ADMU organizations: ADMU COSA, Ateneo Musicians’ Pool, and ACOMM. We would also like to thank our sponsors: Pioneer Mighty Bond, The Loop, and Oakley, and our media partners: Inquirer Super, When In Manila, Indie Manila, and Bandwagon PH.
