These days, we’re all about that binge life on Netflix. We go to friends and sites (shoutout to our listicles) as well as peep the streaming platform’s trending list for what to watch next. But what if all of those go stale? Where do we run to next?
Indecisive streamers, look no further—Netflix’s new shuffle button is most def for you.
The global streaming site has now placed its new shuffle button for beta testing. With this, viewers can shuffle movies or series so they can randomly select media content with ease. The button appears below your profile or on the home screen and its selection is based on viewing history, preferences and playlists.
“We’re always looking for better ways to connect members with shows and films that they will love,” says a Netflix spokesperson to CNN. “We run these tests in different countries and for different periods of time—and only make them broadly available if people find them useful.”
No reports yet if this feature will be available in the Philippines. Rest assured, we’ll be pressing that shuffle button hard during binge weekends or late-night weekdays when we lose control of our mortal lives.
