As we already know, Filipina women are pretty voracious consumers of porn. The only problem is a lot of porn is made for men. With all the wild expectations being set on women because of these crazy man-fantasies (double D’s and washboard abs or you’re not attractive! Didn’t orgasm? Too bad for you, I did already!) it can get painful rather than arousing to see a woman being treated only a few notches up from a blow-up doll.
Caroline Spiegel found it uncomfortable to watch as well, and not to mention non-inclusive. Spiegel suffered from sexual dysfunction due to anorexia in her college years, and mainstream porn doesn’t seem to cater to women who are sensitive to body image. So the 22-year-old rallied up an all-female team and started Quinn, a no-visuals porn site that stimulates the sexiest part of a woman—her imagination.

The site, which launched last Apr 13, contains erotica and sensual audio that goes from guided masturbation to dirty talking to sexual intercourse. The content was based on Reddit and the now-defunct Dark Tumblr posts. “A lot of women haven’t experienced raw, visceral pleasure before, [but once we help them find it] we’ll have momentum,” says the creator, and she’s hoping that the site opens new horizons for female masturbation everywhere.
Another fun part is that you can ask for your wildest fantasies, or share creations of your own. “The whole thing is open source, so people can submit content and fantasies, etc. Everything is vetted by us before it goes on the site,” Caroline says. Cue Beyoncé’s “Feeling Myself.”
