Daily ’fits a little meh? Fortune W.W.D.’s new drop wants to change that

Ask any fashion enthusiast: Everyday outfits don’t have to mean monotony.

But if you’re looking for proof—or a boost to your closet—today’s case in point is brought to you by local brand Fortune W.W.D.

The Manila-based fashion label has recently released their 2021 Autumn/Winter collection dubbed “Main Line: 1,” which reconstructs the everyday wear down to the seams. Founded on Fortune W.W.D.’s ethos “the core of every garment,” the new collection places the pieces’ construction in center stage, going beyond just one aesthetic.

“Through our full involvement in both design and manufacturing, we were able to experiment with different design iterations that build upon what we believe to be core design choices,” they write. “‘Main Line: 1’ reimagines daily wear through our lens—blending modern utility and style with handmade quality craftsmanship.”

Packed with familiar silhouettes like kimonos, ’70s-style lounge clothes, and military and workwear, the A/W drop features limited pieces created from fabrics the designers have collected throughout the years.

The “Main Line: 1” collection can now be copped through Fortune W.W.D.’s site starting from $45 (P2,276). Check out some of the looks below.
