Wait a sec, is Park Seo Joon entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Get up from the (K-drama) drought, Park Seo Joon stans: A new series for the actor might not be in sight, but it looks like something as exciting is on the way soon.

According to Korean news outlets Soompi and Koreaboo today, June 15, Park Seo Joon has reportedly been offered a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe—particularly in “The Marvels,” the sequel to “Captain Marvel” starring Brie Larson. Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani are also joining the cast.

In addition, Soompi says that Park Seo Joon is set to fly to the United States in the second half of the year to start filming, after completing his current film shoot for “Concrete Utopia.”

So far, Marvel hasn’t made any official announcement and Awesome ENT, Park Seo Joon’s agency, has answered “no comment” to these reports. But NGL, who wouldn’t be thrilled to witness Park Seo Joon be warped into an action-packed superhero venture—further evolving to his possibly most badass form yet? A ticket to the Marvel ‘verse sounds like a good idea after his long track record as our Korean Rom-Com King.
