They heard us—Big Bad Wolf book sale is now online (kinda)

While we’re still reeling from the many casualties of our year-long plague (see: canceled events), we have at least the virtual sphere to turn to. The next thing on our list: the annual Big Bad Wolf book sale, now online. (Kinda.)

Originally from Malaysia, the Big Bad Wolf sale has been Christmas for bibliophiles ever since it landed in the Philippines in 2018. As expected, we won’t see its IRL version anytime soon, but BookXcess—the folks behind Big Bad Wolf—has a quick solution, thanks to the cheap books in its online store.

Just like the actual Big Bad Wolf sale, book nerds can get new reads, hefty price drops attached. Selections like Harper Lee’s “Go Set a Watchman” is 86 percent off (that’s P234 for a brand new hardbound book, y’all), while books from the OG “Potter” series are at P351 apiece.

The catch? Since it ships from Malaysia, Filipino bibliophiles will have to pay international shipping charges. According to its FAQ, delivery will take from one to two weeks, too.

If that ain’t keeping you from hoarding another book, head to BookXcess’ site to start. (But just like us, you can always just longingly stare at our Big Bad Wolf haul from last year.)
