Ah yes, “Emily in Paris.” You either loved or hated this Netflix comedy-drama series that premiered in 2020, but you can’t deny that it made a huge buzz globally. In fact, entertainment firm Nielsen listed it as one of the 10 most-streamed shows online in its first week.
While we were watching its lead Emily Cooper prance around the city of love cluelessly, we couldn’t help but think of how genius it would be for someone to make a Filipino food business called “Emily in Pares.” And oh boy, were we ecstatic when we learned that someone had grabbed the opportunity after all.
First set up as a food stall in November 2020, Emily in Pares has recently upgraded to a food truck parked at the Metro Towne Center Mall in Las Piñas City. Just like the Instagram posts of the Netflix series’ leading lady, the food business was discovered by netizens through a viral post on Facebook that highlighted its witty name.
In true Emily Cooper spirit, the food business’ recently-introduced truck has a ’70s-inspired design with an eye-catching, neon-lit “Emily in Pares” sign as a finishing touch.
Although inspired by the Netflix show centered on the chic and luxurious city, the prices at Emily in Pares are downright affordable. The star of its menu, pares with rice, is available for P40. You can get a steaming bowl of mami or papaitan for P35, and lugaw for P25.
Congratulations to our 2nd lucky winner of 1 Pares with Rice or 1 Mami per/ day for 1 month ( 30 days) Kindly DM us for more details on how to claim your prize ! ? ?

Social distancing measures are being enforced for customers lining up to keep the area safe. The food truck is open every day from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m., but in a recent Facebook post, the Emily in Pares’ team asked customers if they want the truck to operate 24/7. Sounds good for everyone craving comfort food, isn’t it?
