The time has come to narrow down the bold and bad fashion choices you made this year. You can take this with a grain of salt, but no regrets, please; it’s good to try new things or go against the tide of prevailing styles. With the fashion world welcoming so many new looks, you might want to leave a few of them in the past where they belong.

Leave that ’80s comeback ’do just in time for the New Year. Whatever bottled-up angst or punk dreams you’ve been carrying for the longest time, your hairstyle choices do not necessarily bear the coolness you think they exude when they first came out. Definitely not an overreaction, but if your slides cost more than a good pair of shoes then it’s definitely a no for me—ever. I mean, why would you even spend on a pricey, rubber sandal if you could, say, buy a strapping shoe that remains iconic?
