We’ve had a preview of what the new e-passport would look like a year ago, and today you can finally get a hold of it, according to the Presidential Communications Office Of The President:
The inside pages have prints of local tourist attractions, heritage sites, and important landmarks as well as the national bird just in case we forgot what country we’re from. Not only are the pages aesthetically pleasing, but are also lined with security measures, hence the added “e” to the e-passport. Here’s a sneak peek of what the inside pages are so you can judge for yourself:
Does it look good? Yes. but will it look like when it gets photocopied? Is the new e-passport another case of good visuals over functionality? For once, we’re looking forward to get our passports renewed.
