Get your risography 101 in Bad Student’s online class

We’re stuck in our homes for the rest of the year. So what do we do with the luxury of time we reluctantly have? Learning new tricks and adapting hobbies of course.

And your favorite duo from Bad Student’s got you. If printmaking is something you fuck with, their first online risography workshop might be what you’re looking for.

Happening on Oct. 10, Bad Student’s online risography workshop won’t be any different from their annual physical tutorials, except that they’ll be printing your works of art remotely. They’ll teach you the basics, give you creative freedom and a Riso Art Box to get you started on your printmaking journey.

“Before creating your very own #Risograph Prints, you will receive a special Riso Art Box with all the materials you’ll need before the start of the online class,” their Instagram post reads. “The Riso Art Box will include a Riso Starter Pack, Riso Swatches and an in-depth Riso Print Guide. And that’s not all, all these items will be shipped to you for free.”

In our Leaders of the New Cool interview, founders Pau Tiu and Dyam Gonzales revealed how fucking up can lead to something great.

“’Yung budget namin into learning, napupunta doon sa talagang, doing something, and if every day mali, it’s unique,” explained Pau. So if art and failure are elements you want to master, this online workshop might be just what your homebody needs.

Feel free to register here. Better make it fast, young artist. They have limited slots only.
