Gorillaz’s quarantine drop is better than yours

OG Gorillaz fans know they only work with music’s best. From their self-titled debut album “Gorillaz” to their last full length “The Now Now,” this band is all about innovation and pulling all the stops. And their quarantine project “Song Machine” is no different.

“Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez” will have all your current and future favorites in one album. And in these strange times, isn’t content diving the only thing that keeps us sane?

This full-length release will have their previously released “Song Machine” collaborations available on YouTube, like “Momentary Bliss,” “Desole” and their recent drop “Strange Timez” with the father of goths, The Cure’s Robert Smith. In the premiere of their latest MV “Strange Timez,” expect fresh collabs from artists like St. Vincent, JPEGMAFIA, Beck, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and the legend Elton John.

“Song Machine” will drop on Gorillaz’s site this Oct. 23. We can expect another treat from our fave virtual band on Dec. 12 and 13 where they’ll have a livestream, performing all the songs in the said release.

Gorillaz, yet again, is the band that keeps on giving.
