The MTV VJ Hunt is back! The world’s favorite music channel is looking for the hottest, unique, and most interesting personalities to join the growing MTV Pinoy VJ fam! Open to boys and girls aged 16 to 25 who love and know music and pop culture, speak English and Filipino well, are active online, and have the attitude and swag to be part of a long line awesome MTV VJs (singing, dancing, and other skills are a plus). The 2016 MTV VJ Hunt kicks off with all-day auditions on August 13 at Glorietta. Other auditions are slated for August 20 at UP Town Center, and Alabang Town Center (date TBA). Featuring live performances by top music artists like Pupil, SUD, The Juans, Curse + Bless, Julianne, and more!
The MTV VJ Hunt is in its 8th year. Previous winners include KC Montero, Belinda Panelo, Derek Ramsay, Colby Miller, Kat Alano, and Andi9 Manzano. Winners of the last MTV VJ Hunt were Chris Schneider, and Kito Romualdez, and previous Scout cover Arianna Epperson. They joined current VJs Yassi Pressman, Sam Pinto, Shy Carlos, Andre Paras, and Josh Padilla as hosts of the various top-rating programs on MTV Pinoy. MTV Pinoy is seen nationwide on Skycable (channel 71), Cignal (channel 80), Destiny Cable (71 digital/45 analog), Dream (channel 9), and Cablelink (channel 7).
