Whoever says they hate cereals might be lying. The sacred splash of milk into the bowl and the cathartic transformation of the flakes inside your mouth—that’s pure chef’s kiss. And maybe Dunkin’ Donuts share the same sentiment.
After turning us into living coffee via scented candles, the donut brand has just announced another product from its caffeine universe: Dunkin’ Donuts cereals.
According to Nerdist, Dunkin’ and Post Consumer Brands are partnering up with Dunkin’ coffee-flavored cereals. It comes in two flavors: Mocha Latte and Caramel Machiatto (which are said to be Dunkin’ fans two favorite flavors.) “We love delighting customers with surprising new ways to enjoy the great taste of Dunkin’,” said Brian Gilbert, vice president of retail business development.
Expect a hint of chocolate and latte-swirled marshmallows in Post Dunkin’ Mocha Latte, while Post Dunkin’ Caramel Machiatto is filled with crunchy cereal pieces and caramel-swirled marshmallows. Take note: Both contain “very small amounts of caffeine, roughly a 10th of a cup of coffee.”
As a cereal killer, this is a pretty big deal. I can’t chill knowing that they’re landing in U.S. stores in August—so Dunkin’, if you’re reading this, you might want to consider our doors too?
