You can help out communities in need with Wednesday’s upcoming collection

As crazy as the world is right now, one thing’s for certain: We’re all in this together, for better or worse. And for Wednesday’s upcoming release, it’s all about uplifting that sense of unity.

The local clothing brand announced the collection online last weekend with a preview of the shirts. “Whatever the world throws! Let’s do it together,” reads the shirts’ featured design, coupled with an illustration in Wednesday creative director Raniel Moraleta’s a.k.a. Brainspread’s signature style. “This lockdown has affected a lot of us and writing this now, I feel like we have to be responsible for designs like this,” says the brand.

The brand’s mission won’t stop at the design: Profits from the collection are also set to help communities in need. Half will go to the community of an Instagram user named Andrea, who shared in a post that families in their community have been struggling to eat. They also write that their home was purportedly invaded by police and evidence of illegal substances was planted. “Asan ‘yung katarungan kung ang gobyerno mismo ang virus kasi mga tao namamatay sa gutom sa hirap ng buhay,” wrote Andrea in all caps.

The other half of the collection’s profits will go to production and future projects to support other communities in need. The message is clear: All we’ve really got now is each other.

Before the collection’s drop, peep some designs below.
