Cinephiles, this free screenplay library has scripts of award-winning Hollywood movies

Directors are dropping their quarantine movie recos, but what’s a great movie without its script?

If the quarantine ever made you think about dipping into the world of cinematic greatness, reading scripts is the first step (along with watching movies, of course). The Script Lab (TSL) Screenplay Library has hundreds of screenplays for you to read, all for educational and research purposes.

These scripts are available to download for free. Once you sign up for an account, you’ll have access to the scripts of many award-winning Hollywood movies. On the list are your fandom favorites, animation classics and over 60 horror masterpieces like “Silence of the Lambs,” “The Shining” and “Alien.”

TSL also helps aspiring filmmakers hone their craft, from offering basic screenwriting tips to providing insight straight from experienced creatives. They have tons of resources for you to use, whether you’re a dedicated cinephile or a casual movie lover yet to pen their first screenplay.

Who knows? Maybe you could write the next viral Netflix original someday.
