Sick of film reboots yet? You might want to try watching the original classics, and this public domain site can help you with that.
Public Domain Movies hosts a variety of films from the ’10s to the ’70s that are now, well, public domain. The films are largely Golden Age Hollywood and American indie flicks, along with a collection of animated films. Think the original Popeye and Betty Boop, plus 1930s “Tom and Jerry” films.
Feature films that are hosted on the site include “Nosferatu,” “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea,” “A Star Is Born” (the 1937 original), “Night of the Living Dead,” “Sherlock Holmes,” “His Girl Friday,” “The Little Shop of Horrors” and an array of Charlie Chaplin films just to name a few.

The site works as a third-party host and accumulates legal links of these materials all over the internet. But even though they’re public domain, viewers can only reproduce them under the condition that it’s for private use. It’s still perfect for a good ol’ marathon.
