Like a trusted friend, Studio Ghibli came through for us yet again. They just released a series of wallpapers of settings from their iconic films. Warp yourself into the worlds of “Howl’s Moving Castle,” “Spirited Away,” “Princess Mononoke” and more while ticking off your daily deliverables. Best part? They’re all free for download.
According to Ghibli’s website, these babies really are meant for web and TV conferences. But, you know, you can always put this up after a Netflix party of Ghibli films with your gang too. If that’s not a peak immersive experience, I don’t know what is.
You can get the wallpapers here. If you’re in the mood for more Ghibli, check out the four-part documentary series about their co-founder Hayao Miyazaki that has recently been made available online.
