In times of great tension, music is here to soothe some of our worries. And while we’re discouraged to go out, physical gigs are out of the question. So, what’s one fix? Our favorite virtual spot, Club Matryoshka.
Right before their first music fest happening on Apr. 26, the Minecraft club is serving us a starter course, with names picked out from across the globe. In a collab with music label and YouTube channel 777 MUSIC, the 777 Club is “an online music experience that will be available as both a livestream, but also as an actual live Minecraft-server customized for this event.”
Livestream lurkers and Minecraft players can catch acts like NYC band Triathalon, Bergen musicians Vetle Junker and Niilas, London-based Indonesian DJ Fiddy, Norwegian-Chilean indie pop artist (and semi-professional FIFA player) boy pablo, German DJ Rhina Love and homegrown acts Mellow Fellow and Ruru.
