French luxury brand Maison Margiela and good ol’ Reebok are coming out with a crazy new shoe. Who would’ve thought?
The brands’ brainchild is a remix of Reebok’s ‘90s classic Instapump Furies and Margiela’s hoof-like staple design, the Tabi. It first debuted on the runway back in January at a Margiela show, but the brand has now officially made it known to the public with an almighty Instagram post and a release date.
The shoe comes either flat or with heels and has six colorways, including an all-black and all-white version. According to Vogue, this collaboration is the first that the “high priest of couture” Margiela creative director John Galliano has done with a mainstream sneaker brand—so yes, this is a big deal.
