Too shy to perform? This talent show keeps you behind the curtain

Stage fright spares no one. Remember when Gabriella from “High School Musical” almost bailed at her chance of performing “Breaking Free?” Not everyone is lucky to have a Troy Bolton right then and there to stop them from backing out. So here’s the next best thing.

To the talented kids who still aren’t completely gucci with performing onstage, an event by FringeMNL might just be your safe haven. On Instagram, FringeMNL called all introverts for their upcoming event “Closed Curtain,” a talent show for the “shy rockstars out there.” 

Happening on Feb. 13 at Gallery in the Gutter Makati, this show aims to let shy souls “be heard (or felt),” as they think one of the best ways to celebrate the upcoming Valentine’s is to celebrate yourself—by expressing without the pressure of judgement.
