Here’s your chance to see your work on CCP’s literary journal

Hey budding writers, time to polish your long-hidden stories (and pull a friend to do some transparent peer review on your work, I guess?). The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) is scouring through the country for some literary gems.

The country’s authority on art and culture is now open to submissions for ANI, CCP’s official literary journal. The latest volume will include essays, poems, short fiction, and other literary genres. Entries should be hammered on the theme “Paglalakbay: Lakad, Layag, Lipad”—so if you have works that focus on traveling experiences with “insights on culture, arts, and the human condition,” consider yourself halfway ready to get that bread.

Submissions may be in English, Filipino, and any local language of the Philippines, as long as it has an accompanied translation in either Filipino or English. Entries should be in Arial font, 12 pts., and double-spaced in a 8 1/2” x 11” paper. Add a three- to five-sentence bionote with your photo, address, contact deets, and TIN (Tax Identification Number), too. And of course, your entry shouldn’t have been published yet.

Here’s to summoning all the supportive spirits out there that will push us to send our entries—before we could even procrastinate. If you’re ready to flex that brainchild, send it away to anijournal@yahoo.com. You have only until May 30, 2020 to do so.
