The mother of modern music fests has been in every millennial and Gen Zer’s bucket list since hologram Tupac. If you have a deep desire to experience a musical high without breaking the bank, the folks behind the fest are releasing the documentary, “Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert.”
Slated for a Mar. 31 premiere on YouTube Originals, the documentary will feature insights into the festival’s history, including never-before-seen performance footage. Featured artists will include BLACKPINK, Billie Eilish, Radiohead, Kanye West, Björk, among others.

The documentary will be available for free on YouTube, although the video-sharing platform has added in a little sweetener for paid subscribers. As part of their partnership with the fest, YouTube Premium holders will receive purchase access to members-only Coachella passes. If you’re willing to shell out a few bucks, this may be a great deal as the first weekend’s on-sales passes are already sold out.
