Head to these (Christmas) parties before you hibernate

We’ve all experienced it: The Christmas parties that call for half of our dignity and all of our last minute efforts. The dance numbers borne out of embarrassing rehearsals, the controlled social interaction and the mandatory Kris Kringle—iconic. Well, if you’ve gotten tired of the usual holiday celebration, there are a handful of parties this December that can spare us our usual holiday obligations. Strict dress codes? They don’t know her either.

Mark your calendars, family and friends—these parties promise are sure to give you a good time, dignity intact.

Cats of Manila – Adopt a Cat

This year, we’ve witnessed Kathryn Bernardo becoming a cat lady. We’ve also seen hundreds of abandoned animals all over the Philippines, waiting to be adopted. Since Christmas time has been called the season of giving, why don’t we try giving our furry friends a second shot a life? From Dec. 14 to 15, Cats of Manila is opening an adoption booth in Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang  just in time for the holidays. Now, that’s a party for both you and your new pet.
