Right off the bat, the boys of One Click Straight have had a pretty good year. They released their music video for “Manila” (co-starring Ely Buendia), brought their sound to Music Matters live in Singapore, dropped a striking synth pop-ballad “Paraiso,” among others. Infused with their unapologetically chill but experiential soundscape, “Bitaw” feels like a song straight out of an upbeat cyberpunk adventure. The track pushes the listener to step inside their imagination , and stay there for the duration of the track—hence the lyric, “pumikit ka lang at huwag kang bibitaw.” The familiar OCS synths are at their A-game here once again, and we can’t help but bob our heads to the beat. The overall vibe comes off great for all kinds of rides, long or short.
