Hey, we’re getting new contribs and interns at Scout Creative Talks

Here at Scout, we’re always on the lookout for what’s next—and that includes new storytellers. Surprise, surprise: One of them could be you.

If you’re young, creative, and itching to consume and create content, then consider yourself a step closer by reading this story. Our next search for contributors and interns to help us figure out the best thing about being young will be at Scout Creative Talks on Oct. 12 (Grab your tickets here.). Your weapon? The Bumble app. (Download here.)

Being part of Scout—the only free publication for the youth, by the youth—means having an eye (and an opinion) for today’s compelling topics from pop culture to music to fashion to social issues (with a dash of obsessing over drag race queens or the next great 24-hour food spot.)

As part of the contributor pool, you can pitch and write stories for web and print, or create visuals for our stories. Makeup artists, stylists, photographers, hair stylists, and other creatives are also welcome to apply. Interns meanwhile have the opportunity to immerse themselves in shoots, events, and even interview prominent personalities on top of writing stories and creating visuals. Both contributors and intern opportunities are not full-time commitments, so you can work pretty much according to your schedule.

Digging our offer so far? If it’s a resounding “hell yes,” then you might want to meet us  at the Scout Creative Talks on Oct. 12, Saturday, at Samsung Hall, SM Aura because we’ll be on the lookout for contributors and interns on Bumble Bizz. Aside from getting the chance to listen to some of our favorite creatives like LA Aguinaldo, Petersen Vargas, and Yeo Kaa, attendees can hang out at the Bumble Bizz lounge and connect with fellow creatives (who are probably itching to create content as much as you do.) If you’re down for this quest, then be our guest.

Bumble Bizz at Scout Creative Talks can help you find your next mentor, collaborator, business (or passion project) partner, or even friend. All you have to do is follow these steps:

  1. Download Bumble here, hit “Register,” build your profile and choose networking.
  2. Fill out your profile with a headline, photos of your work, or an outline of your professional experiences.
  3. Time to try your shot and see if you’re a match with Scout content creator Giselle Barrientos, who’s also hosting Scout Creative Talks.

If you’re done, you can even get some snacks and coffee. Don’t worry, they’re on us.

Ready to pull up on Saturday? You can buy tickets for #ScoutCreativeTalks here.
