Ourselves the Elves will play with Cosmic Child and more in first overseas show

Ah, the sight we love: Our local acts getting the bread they deserve. After their successful “Self Is Universe” album launch six months ago, four-piece garage folk outfit Ourselves The Elves is set to have their first show outside the Philippines. Slated on Sept. 22, 6 p.m., in Rossi Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia, Ourselves The Elves is set to play for Internet Fwendz 10. (Lowkey wishing to see more reactions to the rhythmic pain that is “Okay, Okay, I’m Wrong, I’m Sorry.”)

Playing side by side with our favorite emotionally-charged band are Indonesian indie pop/rock group Jirapah, Tokyo-based indie pop band For Tracy Hyde, indie pop/rock band Bedchamber, and Singaporean alt-indie group Cosmic Child. In case your friend hasn’t told you yet, For Tracy Hyde and Cosmic Child will also be dancing and bobbing their heads with us in Manila on Sept. 21. You have all the options you want, bud.
