Who could ever forget those intimate events and concerts held at SM Megamall’s Satchmi? Brings us back to their “Feels” show that happened on Valentine’s Day of 2015–where the quaint shop’s location overflowed with avid music fans, the crowd of people reaching the halls outside. This was simply one of the many signs that Satchmi needed pave way for growth–literally. The brand recently opened their renovated (and bigger!) Megamall branch to the public just last Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Mainly recognized for their vinyls, Satchmi widened their assortment of goods to even more knick-knacks attractive to the young Filipino creative. Other than vinyls and assorted local CDs, the brand also carries handcrafted goods from Filipino suppliers, such as notebooks and various music and art paraphernalia. Of course, many have grown to become fans of their very own artisan coffee.
Everything about the new and improved Satchmi branch screams more: more products (including an exclusively curated camera accessories line from Film Folk), coffee equipment, and yes, they’ve finally got food!
With the help of chefs Him Uy de Baron and JJ Yulo, Satchmi dipped their toes into the world of gastronomy and came up with their own menu of sandwiches, bruschettas, and dessert. Naturally, all these yummy treats are best paired with the shop’s coffee.
Here are some of Satchmi’s new gastronomic offerings below! Though we would’ve loved to try ’em all, we at the Scout team could only eat so much in one sitting.
