This competition allows college students to be mentored in Paris, France

We all just want to get up from our beds, fly somewhere far, and learn from the pros. This is exactly the scene in L’Oreal Brandstorm. If you get to be included in the lucky stars, that is.

A global competition, Brandstorm opens opportunities to college students around the world to dip their toes into in-depth training for their future working girl dreams, especially the path to brand-building. Aside from being a talent pool magnet, Brandstorm squeezes its contestants’ abilities on how innovative, tenacious, daring, and entrepreneurial they can get. This year, students are tasked to create a disruptive innovation for skincare. What kind? One that attracts and engages health-conscious consumers through digital solutions and connected technologies.

The top 24 teams in the Philippines were chosen last March 7, and will be trimmed down to eight on March 22. The chosen team from the country will be sent to Paris, France for the Worldwide Finals. Have a clue on why it’s in Paris? Well, for the first time ever, the champion of the Brandstorm will win the brand’s Intrapreneurship Award—a one-way ticket to getting a three-month mentorship in Station F, the world’s largest start-up campus in Paris, France. Think of it this way: your brand concept being polished and developed by expert decision-makers in the field. This follows the chance to develop a prototype of your project as a brand under the Active Cosmetics Division. No big deal, no big deal.

All of these, a P300,000 cash prize, and more. We’re madly rooting for our bets, and we hope you can join in this one heck of a challenge in their next call, too.
