Oh, how the tables have turned.
Following the group’s denial of a reunion, The Jonas Brothers revived their Instagram account last night with a slew of content we were not ready for.
First off was a cover for their new single, “Sucker” coming out midnight EST. Set your alarms Philippines, because that translates to 1 p.m. for us.
Next, they posted a teaser of their upcoming Carpool Karaoke episode with James Corden. The brothers also made it a point to look right into the camera and say, “We’re back.” Is it just me or did “When You Look Me In The Eyes” start playing somewhere in the background?
Finally, just because they knew they had the power to potentially break the internet, they recreated one of the most precious, beloved memes in history.
A lot has changed since the last time they released music as a band. Our boys are all grown up now, all with wives and a wife-to-be, Calvin Klein ads, and little baby Jonases. Maybe for this era, they’ll also be bringing in the fourth JoBro into the fray? Time can only tell, but we’re just happy there’s a new era to begin with.
