Before the scheduled release of the relapse EP premiering on the 14th of February, Moon Mask has revealed the visual match for one of the tracks off it—“Boulevard,” a clever synth-pop sound that sings for the love entangled with time’s misadventures. Released on Jan. 17, the “Boulevard” music video is yet another playful scheme in attempting to take a lukewarm sail on heartbreak. The movements and colors show.
This MV is a brainchild of director and writer Miko Reyes. With grains, glitches, and gradients changing in a blink of an eye, “Boulevard” stays as a body mover now made better. Aside from this, the soothing, slumberous beats make it a bedroom blast we want to get carried away with. We call it a good start for Moon Mask in 2019 as we also keep our ears open—what kind of energy will the EP bring to our bones?
