Agape is an independent clothing brand based in Manila, and for their anniversary campaign they’ve recruited Hannah Pangilinan to front the campaign’s look book. Hannah has previously also worked with Agape Kulture in previous look books.
While the clothes are straight to the point—tote bags, shirts, and hoodies laid out with the Agape logo, the campaign look book released as single images on their social media handles carry positive statements that are reminiscent of Christian or Biblical quotes. The statements sit in juxtaposition to the digital-inspired look book aesthetic, or is it complementary? As if to say that a “life of love” and a life with social media are possible. It’s nothing novel, for sure, but the commitment to that belief, especially coming from such a young brand, is heartwarming (Or are we just jaded?) With that, Hannah Pangilinan fronting the campaign appears to be the perfect fit.
