What to get at the first Innisfree store in Manila

After we got introduced to the extensive Korean skincare routine some two or more years ago, Innisfree finally arrives in our local shores. Tomorrow (Nov. 23), the skincare brand is opening their first store in Manila. This is good news to every K-skincare fan who likes to test products on their skin before buying.

Located at the Mall of Asia, it’s pretty easy to get overwhelmed with their wide selection of products. In case you’re visiting the store right when it opens, we made a list of products that you might want to try out:

Apple Seed Cleansing Oil

Oil cleansing is the very first step in K-skincare. Innisfree’s apple seed cleansing oil removes heavy makeup and other impurities from your skin without leaving the skin dry. Although this is quite gentle, this is not the cleansing oil for those who hate scented cleansers.

Green Tea Seed Serum

This moisturizing green tea serum is advertised as the first serum that should be applied on the skin, if you follow a long K-skincare routine. This nourishes the skin and keeps it hydrated while protecting your skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Eco Safety Perfect Sunblock

How do I even emphasize the need for sunblock? Uhm, maybe watch this video by Baz Luhrmann. If that doesn’t convince you, maybe a sunblock without the white cast will. The Eco Safety Perfect Sunblock is made with sunflower oil, green tea extract, and fermented yeast, giving your skin an extra boost aside from sun protection. It’s a long-lasting sunblock that doesn’t feel sticky and heavy

Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Ask anyone on the internet about Innisfree and this clay mask rises as the most prominent answer. I’m also pretty sure this will be the first product to run out of stock. This volcanic clay-based mask removes dead skin cells and exfoliates the skin, leaving your pores clear and refreshed.

My Real Squeeze Mask Ginseng

Innisfree is heaven for sheet mask lovers. Their My Real Squeeze masks are made with thin naturally derived cellulose sheets enriched with your choice of essence. The ginseng variant is easily a favorite. It keeps your skin vibrant even after a single use.
