Whether or not you were able to attend Fête de la Musique last weekend, the event was undeniably successful. With the magnitude of people who went, the stages were packed. It got to an extent that some stages had lines of attendees dying to get in. Nevertheless, it was a good day for the local music scene.
Just when you think this year’s over with, Alliance Française de Manille and B-Side Productions will be staging three more free-for-all shows. The festivals will in Intramuros, Manila on June 29; Baguio City and Pagsanjan, Laguna on June 30.
The Intramuros Stage
The Intramuros Stage is happening tomorrow at Puerta Real Gardens. The lineup, always well-curated, consists of Apartel, Ebe Dancel, Autotelic, Tom’s Story, Better Days, Shirebound & Busking, Joee & I, Shamanism, Dayaw, and more. French girl group Lady’s Symphony will also be flying in all the way from France. The ladies will be showcasing their expertise on electronic-house music to the local viewers.
The Baguio Stage
On June 30, the Baguio Stage will take place in Malcolm Square with acts you’d definitely brace the travel for. The lineup consists of Ang Bandang Shirley, Rusty Machines, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas, Kat Agarrado, Tarsius and more. The Baguio stage is produced in cooperation with Baguio City Tourism and Funkybeat Productions.
The Laguna Stage
The Laguna, Pagsanjan Stage is an exciting take on local music as fresh, talented artists are taking the stage. Get ready for acts in the main stage which include Walk Me Home, Caravan, Mad Irie, and more. For the hip-hop stage, you can catch Ligaw na Gulay, Andong, Laguna Dance Crew and more. These stages will happen at Da Pipols Food Park in Pagsanjan, Laguna. This is made possible in partnership with Sound Experience Manila.
