Here are 5 more games from E3 2018 we’re dying to play

E3 is debatably the most anticipated convention for gamers, and we know we’ve written an article about it already, but we can’t get enough. Here’s a part two, since the announcements are almost overwhelming.

Resident Evil 2 Remake

It is not unheard that previous releases from the famous video game franchise have been getting flak from die-hard fans for its unrealistic portrayal of villains like Wesker, and for straying too far from that distinct, gruesome Resident Evil vibe.

As heard from E3, Resident Evil goes back to its prime with a remake of the classic concept: Raccoon City’s gritty streets are once again infested with zombies as sentimental piano jams in the background. You play as the rookie police officer and RE 4 protagonist Leon S. Kennedy. This definitely pleased the fans, and being one of them, I’m still freaked. Get the nostalgia here:

The Last of Us Part II

Going back to the post-apocalyptic United States, America (or well the whole world) hasn’t been doing too great to say the least. Years after the events of The Last of Us, gamers from all over the world still haven’t recovered from the game’s overwhelming and gut-wrenching storyline. Fans were hyped to see how Ellie’s finally all grown up and is making Joel proud by kicking ass all by herself. Although we can’t stop making theories as to what happened to Joel, we’re certainly excited to see then-young girl Ellie all grown up and tough.

Death Stranding

This one is quite special. Without summoning any nostalgia nor riding on a precedent game, its eerie charm caught everyone off-guard. Developed by Kojima Productions and headed by Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear, the fans’ curiosity easily make them subscribers of the upcoming action game.

With actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner portraying the lead characters, this definitely showcases the developments in the video game industry for its use of advanced technology. What better way to complete the bizarre atmosphere? Guillermo del Toro. Yup, he’s going to have a character designed from his likeness. See virtual Léa eat a bug below.

Super Smash Brothers

The switch is continuously gaining by redefining the standards of both portable and console gaming. The Nintendo faithfuls have been waiting for their favorite games to be refined for far too long, but this year’s E3 made them realize that everything is worth the wait. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate is coming back this December stacked as fuck! The game will feature every hero that was present in the game’s previous versions, while adding more iconic characters such as Ryu from Street Fighter and Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. Super Smash Bros will always be the greatest and most ambitious crossover attempt. Quote us.

Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite brings back classic halo art style that fans have been dying to have. Master Chief’s appearance along with the marines certainly shook the seats of many fans. Forerunner structures are also noted in the trailer and those also throw back to classic halo games. Halo Infinite will run on a new Slipspace Game Engine which 343 Industries built specifically for the game making it even more promising. We cannot wait any longer. Here’s the official trailer.
