With the summer season coming along, why not put that break to good use and take an internship? Channel your inner Andrea Sachs ala Devil Wears Prada or Carrie Bradshaw and apply here at SCOUT Magazine. Fret not, youngins, for there will be no mandatory coffee runs or terror bosses breathing down your neck here. With SCOUT, you get a chance to be part of a fun, dynamic team of fellow creatives who will provide you with a hands-on learning experience. If you have a good grasp of the SCOUT brand and a knack for culture, and are interested in learning the ins and outs of the publishing industry, scroll below. We may just have a seat at the office for you.

Editorial intern

As an editorial intern, you should be quick on your feet and able to produce stories with a strong writing voice that is in line with the SCOUT branding. You must also be adept with the various social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) and have ideas to contribute to the table. Other tasks include helping with shoots, representing SCOUT at events, and event coverage.

Art Intern

As an art intern, you should have an eye for good design and visuals that are also in tune with the SCOUT branding. Technical skills include knowledge in editing softwares such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Lightroom. Video editing is a plus. Other tasks include art direction, styling, and event coverage.

If these sound right up your alley, send your cover letter, portfolio, and CV to scoutmagph@gmail.com.
