Every2nd Project – Described as a “A virtual exhibition space focusing on Philippine contemporary photography,” Every2nd Project embraces the freedom and limitations of social media when it comes to photography, and more. Images are placed without any context, set in a white background and arranged in no particular order. It’s an interesting look at the work of Filipino photographers, and it also raises questions about how we appreciate art. Is the gallery the “best” way for art to be shown? Check it here.

lilbootycall – “first date” – lilbootycall’s leanings have all the markers of the post-internet generation: genre-bending bubblegum melodic hip-hop bathed in bright colors and cute vaporwave-inspired visuals. It’s reminiscent of many a Soundcloud rapper, but lilbootycall’s fine tuned the whole “aesthetic” to something distinctly his. I’ve been listening to “first date” the day it came out. lilbootycall, lemme interview you.

Breakout Philippines – I know escape rooms aren’t exactly a new concept, but the thing is, I was never really that curious to try one out until I passed by Breakout Philippines’ Greenbelt branch. The shop looked interesting, with cool posters that resembled movie promos. I decided to attept their Corpse Bride room with five of my friends one day. Though we didn’t make it out (it was a lot harder than we expected, okay), we got hooked and immediately planned to do another room within the next ten days! We tried Room 13 at Breakout’s Paragon Plaza branch next and we completed it with around 2 minutes to spare! It’s really a great bonding experience with friends and you get to test your wits as well. Plus, because of how well-designed the rooms are, you really think you’re in another place and time. Now we’re a little obsessed with trying the rest of Breakout’s rooms. Can’t wait for our next session!

HANSE – Confession: I do not know how to bake or cook. The most I can do is maybe fry an egg and roast some barbecue at Korean restaurants. Then I came across this Youtube cooking channel which doubles as ASMR as well. The quality of HANSE’s videos are so clean, neat, and satisfying, that I am now inspired to fucking bake a cake or something. HANSE produces videos for various recipes, from pastries, to something as simple as milk tea! And they’re all very cute to look at. I’m hooked.

Damitan Mo Si Maria: UP Clothing Technology Graduation Show 2018 – I had the chance to watch this year’s UP Clothing Technology graduation show, and I’m so in awe of all the new designs that these upcoming designers came up with. Can’t wait to see them and their designs on the pages of magazines soon!

Canvas tote bag from The Starving Artist – I love tote bags. They’re so easy to use and easy to pair with clothes, from the simplest ones, to even the most put- together pieces. I especially love them when they’re in a really cool color or print. I’ve been following the brand The Starving Artist since last year and I look forward to what this young brand brings to the table every time. I’d definitely use their totes with any of my outfits anytime.
