There’s a new streetwear brand in town and it goes by the name Kalye RIO. “Kalre RIO,” because it’s streetwear by Rio Estuar, that takes inspiration from Filipino culture or the “kalye” (streets) of the Philippines. Their first collection is comprised of Filipino street food-inspired orange, green, grey, and black over-sized and stylized unisex bomber jackets, jumpsuits, and joggers, and such. With each piece locally made in the Philippines, the brand aims to keep things local.
Grab a piece of the collection by swinging by the Estuar Farm Grounds in Rizal tomorrow, Dec. 2, where they’ll be serving kwek-kwek, fishball, taho, and such from 5pm onwards to celebrate the launch of the new brand.
