4 witchy beauty products best used for the Halloween season

By Denise Fernandez

Halloween is right around the corner. And who doesn’t enjoy dressing up and putting unimaginable things on their faces? Once you’ve got your costume down, it’s only proper to put the right kind of makeup and/or skincare on. Here we’ve listed dark, gothic lipsticks, crazy eyeshadow palettes, and a bunch more. See what suits your taste yourself here below:

Paprika Matte & Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette

Paprika’s new eyeshadow palette basically looks like the perfect palette for Halloween if you didn’t know any better. Made with red, yellow, and orange pigments and shades, this would look great as a pop of color on your eyes if you’re wearing pale makeup. Overall, the palette isn’t only pretty for Halloween but for the entire fall season too. Not to mention it’s pigmented as fuck.

Lime Crime Matte Velvetines in Bloodmoon

Lime Crime actually has a lot of lipsticks great for Halloween, but their dark Matte Velvetines do the best job for this time of the year. The Bloodmoon shade is the darkest red of them all, but feel free to try out their other vampy colors, including dark blue, purple, and black ones. Lime Crime’s Matte Velvetines are inspired by the texture and color of rose petals–can’t get any more gothic than that.

Witch’s Pouch Selfie Fix Pigment

Though the brand’s name is Witch’s Pouch, these eyeshadows actually resemble fairies more rather than witches. These light and sparkly colors work best if you’re dressing up like an elf, a Japanese-inspired magical girl, or, yes, a fairy.

Lush Mask of Magnaminty

I know we’ve pimped out this mask way too many times already, but if there’s a face mask that’s perfect for the spooky season, it’s Lush’s Mask of Magnaminty. It’s really fun to slap this clay mask on and pretend you’re the green-faced Wicked Witch of the West, complete with “warts” (aduki beans and primrose seeds) and everything. If you’re crazy enough, you could even use this as part of your witch get-up.
