The Ordinary’s 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil – Friends at the office went crazy over purchasing products by The Ordinary. Since my skin isn’t as problematic as before, I decided to try the simplest item on their roster–their rosehip oil. I can actually already notice my skin producing less oil throughout the day. Who knew putting oil on your face would actually make it less oily?! Not to mention, my face feels and looks great whenever I wake up in the morning now. I also love how this seems like it’ll last forever; one drop goes a long way!
Quisina PH’s Smoked Dinuguan – I’ve been craving for this home-cooked meal ever since I tasted it while shooting the people behind Quisina PH for one of my other magazine titles. It’s unlike any other dinuguan I’ve tried, with a delicious smoky taste you can’t find elsewhere. What’s great is that if you buy dishes from Quisina, proceeds will be going to the cook who’s actually made it. You can read all about the advocacy on their Facebook or Instagram pages.

@goldschoolph – I stumbled upon this shop over at the Escolta Block Party and their shop is indeed a gold mine of beautiful thrift finds. They were even dancing to some ’90s hip-hop during the block party! Choose from their range of shirts, button downs, track pants, jackets and shoes. If you’re looking to dress like how they do hip-hop in the ’90s, head on over to their Instagram to cop their latest drops!
Iris – Iris Apfel is such an icon in the world of fashion. Her bold fashion sense and statement accessories never goes out of style, no matter what age and time she is in. She’s truly a clear proof that fashion is for everyone, no matter how young or how old you are.

Freudian by Daniel Caesar – Toronto R&B artist Daniel Caesar released his debut album over the past week and it’s the perfect album to cry to. Even if you weren’t feeling heartbroken prior to listening to this, you’ll find an aching in your chest that you didn’t know even existed after. Unlike most songs these days, every song in the album is so pure and stripped down; it’s as if the melodies were built around his voice, merely there to frame it. My favorite song is “Loose,” it kind of reminds me of Frank Ocean.
The LifeDrawing Setup – This was a nude drawing party held by WHOAREMARO at Warehouse Eight. I was actually supposed to model for it, but ended up going there as a participant instead. And, I won art supplies from Faber-Castell! It was pretty cool, considering it was my first time and I’m actually surprised that everyone was
