Adidas’ latest collab will be made entirely by hand

If you’re into streetwear, the name Hender Scheme must have already reached your ear; the Japanese brand headed by Ryo Kashiwazaki is collaborating with Adidas Originals for a series of footwear releases. The draw? the entire collection will be made entirely by hand, using the same premium leather Hender Scheme has been using in their collections.

Imagine your Adidas sneaker favorites: the NMD, the Superstar, and the MicroPacer painstakingly handmade in vegetable tan leather. Ain’t that a beauty? A beautiful intersection of the industrial and artisanal on your feet. Since each pair is manually done, you can also imagine that each pair would be distinct in the sense that it wouldn’t be 100% similar to another pair.

As you might imagine how hard making one pair would be, only 300 pairs of each will be sold worldwide for a total of 900 on September 2, and expect the retail price to be between $900 to $1000.
