Here’s one brand that’s tired of being ripped off

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but Skate culture magazine cum brand and fashion phenomenon Thrasher Magazine is tired of being knocked off. With brands like R13, Forever21 and H&M—to name a few—blatantly stealing their iconic flaming yellow and red logo design, they’ve taken matters to their own hands and decided to create their own bootleg shirts and jackets.

A move only a brand like this could thoroughly pull off, they dropped the news on their official Instagram account on the day of 2017’s Go Skateboarding Day. Tapping Dutch artist Parra to recreate their classic logo, the text reads “THARSHER MAGAZINE.” Sure to cause an uproar in the streetwear scene, if this won’t make brands twice before they go off copying their designs again then we don’t know what will.
