Ariana Grande is not stepping down with #OneLoveManchester

By Koy Mapolon

Looks like Ariana Grande is not letting anything break her spirit.

In line with the attack that happened at her concert in Manchester a little over a week ago, she rallied together several of her artist friends to pay tribute to the victims, as well as to raise money for those who were affected by the tragedy. The lineup, which was announced on May 26, includes the likes of Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Little Mix, and many more. All profits from the show are going to the “We Love Manchester” emergency fund, and people who went to Ariana’s show on May 22 were welcomed to attend the benefit for free. Tickets sold out in a matter of minutes.

The show started on June 4 at 7:00 PM BST (June 5, 2:00 AM PHT) and was streamed across the world through several channels, including Spotify, Youtube, and Facebook live. It was a three-hour event that was filled with heartwarming messages and tributes, and powerful performances–a showcase of love, strength, and triumph all around. It’s the kind that reaches you even as you’re watching from a screen or listening from your mobile device.

You can watch the different performances on the BBC music youtube channel, or check out the whole show down below:
