On March 4, 2017 at the UP Theater in Quezon City, witness over 50 hip-hop crews from all over the country fight to win the trophy and the chance to fly to the World of Dance finals in California.
World of Dance is a global media company which sets up dance competitions around the world and operates a multi-channel dance network on YouTube. Founded in Cerritos, California in 2008, the World of Dance Tour has become the largest urban streetdance competition franchise worldwide. WOD has installments held in over 14 locations in the United States alone, and in over 20 countries worldwide. This 2017, the finals will also be televised on NBC, the network that brought you The Voice and America’s Got Talent, with the help of Executive Producer Jennifer Lopez.
With last year’s champions, Alliance and Addlib, World of Dance Philippines has continued to highlight the best of the best and the amazing hip-hop talent of the Filipino dance community.
More than that, it exposes Filipinos to international dance acts, never failing to give a show that deserves nothing less than a standing ovation. This year, World of Dance Philippines is bringing in Melvin Timtim and Rock*well, two of the youngest and hottest dance acts to date!
